Our Location ...

1. We have two, large, single story residences in upscale neighborhoods, designed for security, safety, and independence.  
2. We are located in the City of Lake Forest, California. We are in a secure, peaceful, and natural setting , with views of the lake.
3. Our homes location offers ease of access to local businesses that provide a wide range of services.  Our residences are only 1/4 of a mile from each other allowing us to bring residents from one home to the other for activites.
4. Centrally located in South Orange Country, our residents and their family and friends can enjoy a wide range of recreational, dining, and lodging possibilities nearby.

We Provide ...

1. Peace of mind! Rest easy, this is what we do and what we have been doing with excellence since 1986.
2. From activities and excursions, to the smell of fresh baking cookies from the kitchen.  We have a sense of warmth and family in an environment that engenders social interaction.
3. Our staff is available to you 24 hours a day: all day and every day. Visiting nurses and physicians are also available.
4. Comprehensive care for our more active seniors as well as our seniors who need more specific attention and assistance in daily activities.
5. A single setting that fully supports seniors' challenging needs with a spectrum of support options: from assistance with living and daily activities to more significant nursing care.
6. We are designed and fully prepared to provide care to our residents who need special care, including; wheelchairs, oxygen, catheters, incontinence, diabetes, Alzheimer's, special diets, and many other medical conditions.
7. We provide assistance with dressing, assistance with bathing, companionship, meal preparation, and distribution and assistance with the taking of medications.

Medical Management ...

1. The staff coordinates with the physicians and their assistants to deliver to each resident the best medical care available, even better than at home. Our staff is fully informed of each resident’s medical history and current health or health issues to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided.
2. Our staff is aware of any changing health conditions and reports these changes and needs to the physicians. The staff works hand in hand with the residents' visiting nurse service to verify that any treatments or rehabs are being handled properly.
3. Our staff is constantly alert and are trained to recognize changes in our residents health conditions-- such as loss of appetite, weight gain or loss, and any psychological changes in personalities.
4. Our residents' medications are secured in a locked cabinet for safety. 
5. All prescribed medications are listed on the residents' medication chart, and the staff documents on this chart when each prescription is given and the specific dose administered.
6. We assist the residents by verifying that each dose is taken at the proper time.  Our staff administers all medications faithfully, including bringing medication doses to the residents' rooms if needed.
7. Medications are not simply handed out to residents - each proper dose is prepared and residents are assisted in taking the medication in the presence of staff.
8. Our pharmacies make daily deliveries and are available 24/7 for emergencies.

Activities ...

1. At The Royal Inns, all of our residents enjoy exclusive membership privileges to the Lake Forrest Beach and Tennis Club - located just down the street from both of our homes.  
2. At the Lake Forrest Beach and Tennis Club, classes for exercise, swimming, arts & crafts, dance, painting, tennis, and more are available.  Most classes are designed for seniors and are free to all of our residents.  
3. A family member can obtain a membership to accompany their loved on to any class or activity at the club.
4. Some examples of classes that can be taken at the "club house" are: Aquatic Fitness Training, Prime of Life Fitness, Salsa, Merenge, Yoga, Beginning Watercolor Painting, Adult Tennis Celebration, and Body and Brain Fitness.
5. Additional entertainment includes a variety of events like movies, dances, magic shows, wine tastings, comedy, and much more.

Additional Comforts ...

1. Many of our residents happily venture 'out and about' together, taking a short stroll to the local shops which are in close walking distance.  
2. The Lake Forest Clubhouse, located just up the street, is also available for those who want a refreshing swim or a relaxing dip in the Jacuzzi. 
3. It is just a few short steps to the picturesque lake and are only a few, easily walked, blocks up the street.  It is truly a lovely view.  We will even walk with you, if you would like.
4. A bright and cheery living room is enjoyed by all!  With a big-screen TV, books, and perhaps a good game of Chess, our residents enjoy sharing quality time here with each other and with their visiting families.
