Lake Forest gets its name from the two lakes and a large area of mostly Eucalyptus trees, know as "the forest".  Although it seems smaller, almost 80,000 people call Lake Forest home.  Some of our more notable residents include Oakley sunglasses, Karem Aircraft, and Saddleback Church. 

 

Our homes are within a mile of the 5 and 405 freeways and near to the 33, 241, and 261 tollroads.  Laguna Beach is 6 miles to the west and Saddleback Mountain provides us with incredible beauty to the east.  Laguna Hills Mall is about a mile away while restaraunts and shopping opportunities along nearby El Toro Road. seem limitless.  Beautiful Laguna Woods is next to the mall.  The Irvine Spectrum and related venues are 5 minutes away.  Saddleback Hospital (less than a mile), Mission and Irvine Hospitals represent some of the finest health care and emergency services in the country and are both 10 minutes away. 

 

Residents of The Royal Inns enjoy free, yes free membership to The Lake Forest Beach and Tennis Club and Lake I, and a family member can obtain a special membership to accompany there loved one as a guest. (About 1/8 of a mile away)    Please see the Lake Forest Beach and Tennis Club website for all they have to offer.  

 

The weather is Southern California perfect!  Our residents are able to enjoy daily walks, or wheelchair strolls almost every day of the year.  Tranquil nearby parks and duck ponds make a great destination.
